South Sudan - Make Your Voice Heard

In December 2013, a civil war erupted in South Sudan due to a falling-out between President Salva Kiir and his deputy, Riek Machar. Since then, the human rights situation in one of the poorest countries on earth has deteriorated dramatically. At least 50,000 have been killed, nearly five million face severe food shortages, and more than 2.2 million have been displaced. Many remain unaware of this human rights catastrophe because it doesn't get the news coverage it deserves.
