Stand with Girls Pursuing Their Education

In Nigeria over 100 girls remain missing after being abducted from their school by the terror group Boko Haram.

The girls were taken because they were pursuing their education – a reminder to us all of the many obstacles related to culture and tradition that girls in many parts of the world must overcome to improve their lives.

The girls have reportedly been “sold” as “wives” to their captures—a cruel and violent punishment for wanting to attend school.

As we await their safe return, we ask you to stand with girls everywhere risking their lives to attend school and change their lives for the better.  It is time to stop the devaluing of girls and women.
